The program of American School Alternative, Inc. will be deployed in the Northern part of Haiti, east side of Cap-Haitien, the second largest city of Haiti. The range of assistance targets children from kindergarten to sixth grades. Four activities will be shared into educational, medical, feeding and drinking water supply. One school, Ecole Chretienne de Morija,(Moriah Christian School), is already in operation. It is lacking in health care and drinking water supply.
Due to a lack of funds, those children cannot be treated with compassion and dignity they humanly deserved. Without electricity, public hygiene, adequate shelter, income generated by their parents employment, the children of Haiti live an endless dysfunctional life style.
American School Alternative, Inc. is an avenue of support for underprivileged children living in suburbs, rural communities, without access to basic necessities, hope and opportunities that are common in inner cities.
The mission of American School Alternative, Inc. is to provide educational opportunities, computer literacy, vocational training, language skills to young children of Haiti in order to make them self-sufficient in their environment when they reach the adult age. The American School Alternative does not discriminate any children on the basis of origin, race, color, gender, religion, age and political affiliation of their parents.
