Finding the right name for a restaurant is of utmost importance because it should represent it’s soul. ‘VAASTU’ was chosen for ours after extensive research.
The name Vaastu is derived from the ancient Indian science “Vaastu Shastra” that aims to create harmony between the human, their dwelling and the Nature. This harmony is established by balancing the interplay and interdependence between the five basic elements for all creations (Panchbhoots in Sanskrit, the language of ancient Indian scriptures): Space (Aakaash), Air (Vaayu), Fire (Agni), Water (Jal, pronounced Jul, u as in hut) and Earth (Bhoomi). An invisible and constant relation exists between these elements outside and within an individual. Vaastu aims at extracting and utilizing the natural positive energy of these five elements to create a unique equilibrium between the individual and his environment.
Vaastu is the sublime elucidation of our surrounding and their influence on our life.
